Dr Timur Ruzmatov

Dr Tim Ruzmatov completed his Doctor of Medicine at Siberian State Medical University in Russia in 2005 and later obtained a PhD in cardiothoracic surgery. Dr Tim relocated to Australia in 2017 and worked in Melbourne as a Resident Medical Officer, where he developed extensive experience across multiple medical and surgical specialties. With more than two decades of clinical practice behind him, including experience in cardiothoracic surgery, emergency medicine and general surgery, Dr Ruzmatov offers a well-rounded and highly capable approach to general practice. He enjoys all aspects of general practice, with a strong interest in procedural medicine. In particular, he is passionate about performing minor surgeries, wound management and providing patients with access to advanced skills within a community setting. Outside of medicine, Tim enjoys spending time with his family and loves fishing, camping and bike riding.
